Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Assist authorized Engineers in accomplishing all maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alterations as per the approval of AMO.
Works only under the supervision of a qualified and authorized AMO personnel, such as authorized Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor.
Prepares scheduled aircraft maintenance according to assigned task cards, ensuring that the required documentation, parts, tools and GSE are obtained and used per issued instructions.
Assist to perform defect troubleshooting and rectification in accordance with Aircraft Maintenance Manuals.
Assist authorized Engineers to maintain positive awareness to the cost of aircraft maintenance including use of time and materials. Minimizes unnecessary waste of consumable material and part repair cost by avoiding unnecessary damage and repeat work during maintenance.
Supervision for the working methods of technicians, assistant technicians and cleaners to ensure that they maintain correct working ethics including housekeeping, record control and adherence to paperwork.
Assist authorized Engineers for the post arrival handling of the aircraft and ensure that the aircraft is prepared for the next flight, after which correct procedures are to be used to shut down and secure the aircraft.
Assist authorized Engineers for the appearance of the aircraft internally and externally prior to any flight and upon its return.
Presents a professional image of himself and of the company to the customers.
Job Requirements
Bachelor of engineering or equivalent
Holds /has held an ECAA LWTR Part 66 A&C / E&I Aircraft Maintenance License
Minimum of one year in aviation maintenance environment as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with a reputable airline or Aircraft Maintenance Organization.
A320 type course is preferable.
Hand skills are mandatory and required.
Able to demonstrate airframe and engine systems maintenance knowledge.
Ability to read, writes, speak and understand English to a good standard for technical communications.
Good computer skills.
