GoJet Airlines is seeking friendly and outgoing individuals to join its award-winning Cabin Crew team. No previous experience is required, but successful applicants should be highly professional, enthusiastic, and committed to providing high-quality customer service., and must be able to work effectively with pilots and ground crews and enjoy traveling and meeting new people. You'll be the only flight attendant on a 50-passenger aircraft, the CRJ-550, flying for United Express.
As a GoJet flight attendant you will provide exceptional in-flight service, demonstrate dependability and punctuality, think independently and collaboratively, handle various situations, work independently and without supervision, ensure customer safety and comfort, respond to emergency and non-emergency situations, maintain a clean cabin environment, and follow applicable regulations and work rules.
Selected candidates must complete a six week paid training program at GoJet Flight Attendant Training Center in Saint Louis, MO, and undergo a hands-on aircraft evaluation.
Benefits and Perks
Flight Attendant's starting pay is $19.58 per hour, with a minimum of 75 hours per month and $2.00/hour per diem. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life, 401K, paid vacation, United Airlines Flight benefits and uniform bank.
Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, two years of customer service experience (preferred), be at least 21 years old, have a valid passport, driver's license, or state ID, and Social Security card, have the legal right to travel, live within two hours of the applicant's domicile, maintain valid travel documents throughout training and employment, authorized to work in the United States, attend up to six weeks of paid training in St. Louis, MO, and be available for reserve duty, which may continue for an undetermined number of years.
The role requires physical exertion, including standing, walking, kneeling, and lifting heavy objects, long periods of standing and speaking, working in confined spaces, dealing with turbulence and noise. The candidate must be skilled in handling difficult situations, problem-solving, and conflict resolution. Must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to professionally represent GoJet Airlines
