Job Description
The Security Specialist is responsible for aviation and facility security, security compliance monitoring, and communication with UAE aviation and governmental agencies. Key duties include establishing and maintaining effective security liaisons with the Civil Aviation Authority of UAE, countries of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi destinations, law enforcement, government agencies, and airport authorities. The Security Specialist also supports the aviation security and crisis management system, coordinates with authorities, implements emergency response plans, and analyzes observations that violate international and national standards. Also processes emergency calls, monitors the security portal, participates in risk and threat analysis, and investigates security-related matters, prepares periodic reports on local threats to WAD operations, coordinates with line management on local security procedures, and reports any unlawful interference with aircraft operations. Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, Candidates must have a university degree, basic ICAO/IATA security training, and at least one year of aviation security experience. Strong analytical, problem-solving, good presentation, and teamwork skills, business mindset, fluency in English and Arabic, and flexibility for travel.
