Job Description
Kuwait Airways is currently recruiting for a Traffic Officer - HBE in the Ground Handling department. The role involves carrying out specialized clerical and technical duties related to passenger check-in and handling at KU or other carrier counters. This includes checking in passengers and baggage, issuing excess baggage forms, collecting cash or credit card receipts, and checking passports for validity and visa. The role also involves liaising with immigration authorities at Kuwait Airport to facilitate clearance of passengers, cabin and deck crew, KAC, and other carriers' flights.
The basic function of the role involves checking in passengers and baggage at Kuwait Airport check-in counters, advising supervisors of any irregularities, and securing baggage on the scale. The role also involves clerical and reception activities related to transitting passengers and baggage, connecting flights, and issuing refreshments and meal vouchers. The role also involves issuing excess baggage forms and receiving payments, collecting changes, and passing the balance of unused forms to the station's cashier at the end of each flight.
Job Requirements
Minimum requirements include 12 years of secondary education, 2 years of airline airport operation experience, 1 year of specialized traffic handling training, computer literacy, and good English knowledge.
