    Job Description

    The Technical Product Manager is responsible for enabling the technical development and run-time operation of products and services within Utilities services (Content Management, Customer Communication and Workflow systems). Provide consultancy services and analysis work for IT projects. Responsible for assisting in making business / product decisions.

    The role is responsible for ensuring that the most cost effective IT solution is presented to the business not only on resolving bugs and break fixes that hinder day to day operations of the business but where requires enhancements and modifications as well. The role demands analytical skills to resolve issues driving stability on the Utilities applications that are supported. Close coordination with various technical teams and regional support teams are required to ensure services are managed effectively.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Handling the support and service management of Utilities Systems for MENAT within the agreed SLA.

    • Perform the required analysis to help in trouble shooting the problems and to reach the root cause of the problems by providing the best valid and cost effective solutions.

    • Ensure that the problems are not recursive, and propose bug fixes if needed.

    • Ensuring that the applications behaviour is stable via performing periodic testing, ever greening, DR testing, etc.

    • Managing the process of testing the supported systems.

    • Managing the relation with the 3rd party vendors and contacting them for further support needed (if any).

    • Report any suspicious system behaviour.

    • Understanding the business needs, and document them into detailed business requirements documents.

    • Setting the Business expectations and work on them.

    Job Requirements

    • UAE Nationals Only

    • Experience of working in IT or business area

    • Subject matter expert on technical/business knowledge of IT systems supporting the Customer Group business

    • Proficiency in the Customer Group business strategy, process, and/or internal procedures

    • Preferably with at least 2-3 years working experience in the related business departments

    • Good command of written , verbal, and interpersonal communication aptitude

    • Excellent analytical skill

    • Good influence skill
