British Council Kuwait is recruiting a HR Administrator to be part of the HR team. To provide a variety of administrative support in HR area, contributing to the development and implementation of efficient and effective HR practices, systems, and policies and to ensure compliance with British Council values, Performance Management and Professional Development, Code of Conduct, and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion standards
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Delivers a range of administrative services within agreed corporate procedures, to maximise quality, continuity and efficiency
Maintains accurate HR records and drafts routine and some non-standard documentation, reports
Provides logistical support to the organisation and delivery of internal and external activities/events, to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently.
Receives and responds to enquiries from/to customers, and may be a specific point of reference on queries relating to HR
Recognises and understands the impact of incidents arising (e.g. complaints, resourcing problems, logistical or technical difficulties) and proactively alerts the team leader to any issues of concern that are likely to impact service delivery.
Proactively communicates and liaises with others (inside and outside the BC) to ensure effective coordination and delivery of events, services and activities
Plans and prioritises own work activities, responding to changing requirements to ensure effective delivery of responsibilities over a daily time horizon
Tasks and coordinates others (e.g. internal colleagues or external contractors/suppliers) to complete time-limited, straightforward activities, within established procedures, in order to ensure efficient delivery of services. Monitors task completion to agreed quality and time standards.

Job Requirements
1-2 years Human Resources and/or relevant related administrative support experience
Fluency in written and spoken English – B2 level.
University graduate or equivalent
