the United Arab Bank - UAB is currently recruiting for the role of Relationship Manager, Wholesale Banking
Develop corporate business in line with United Arab Bank credit policy guidelines Manage/Monitor the assigned corporate credit portfolio ensuring continuous management of credit risk and maximization of profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Manage and monitor the assigned corporate credit portfolio ensuring that the portfolio remains regular at all times and the earnings from each relationship are maximized.
Develop business by marketing new clients and to keep a close contact with customers to understand their business needs and to keep seniors timely updated so as to augment volume of business and adjust bank’s business strategy for each account on a case to case basis to better protect bank’s interest.
Guide and assist the Assistant Relationship Managers & Relationship Officers to discharge their duties smoothly (if needed).
Guide / assist the corporate support team and operations department staff in operational and back office matters especially related to the corporate clients in his / her portfolio to ensure good customers’ services (if needed).
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting from a recognized education institute.
5 -7 years Corporate Banking experience
Knowledge and experience of banking operations and branch network processes
Strong sales track record
Sound knowledge of credit appraisal techniques
Good capability to interpret financial statements/balance sheets/cash flow statements.
Good knowledge of trade finance related products/procedures
Good Communication skills in Arabic will be an added advantage
UAE National candidates preferred
