Description
As a Customer Sales & Service Agent, you'll provide exceptional customer service by selling Emirates airline tickets and services, as well as managing travel plans. You will work with a team to achieve commercial objectives, ensuring high service quality levels for all interactions. You will issue tickets, incorporating all necessary airline rules and regulations, and meeting customer requests. Highlighting relevant requirements like passport, visa, and health requirements will be provided.
You will enhance Emirates revenue earnings by offering options like Skywards membership, DBB, Dubai stopovers, hotel bookings, and upgraded fares. Staying updated on Emirates Group news and updates is crucial for maintaining professional and company standards. Proper documentation, time tables, brochures, and promotional materials will be displayed on counters to increase sales.
You will support the Customer Sales & Service Team Leader in closing end-of-day sales and banking monies received. You will also assist Travel Agents in making bookings, quoting special fares, and completing ticketing formalities. You will also handle Emirates online queries and complex activities like medical cases and special services.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a minimum of a GCSE/O Level qualification (or equivalent), 2+ years in a contact centre or reservations office environment, alternatively, a Diploma/Degree in Travel and Tourism is a strong asset. Proficiency in PC usage is essential, fluency in other languages besides English is a plus. As this role is based in Egypt, the right to live and work there is mandatory.
