    Mercedes-Benz Egypt is currently recruiting for a Human Resources Specialist who will be responsible for providing support in the various human resources functions, which include HR administration, personnel, recruitment, staffing and training and development.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

      HR Administration:

    • Develop and maintain physical and electronic employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions.

    • Maintain and update human resources documents (Leave requests, Life insurance, medical insurance, etc...).

    • Maintain and generate attendance and leaves reports.

    • Coordinate and administer a variety of insurance and benefits plans for employees and their dependents.

    • Document Medical claims actions and records.

    • Respond to employee questions and complaints regarding medical insurance.

    • Maintain critical dates reminder including probation period, contracts renewal etc...

    • HR Marketing and Recruitment

    • Develop Headcount plan and update it on a quarterly basis

    • Develop recruitment strategies including various recruitment channels to meet current or anticipated staff needs

    • Manage and administer the whole database of applicants, candidates, interviewees and hires

    • Manage and administer HR E-mail to have proper database of applications Develop and conduct core competency interviews and suggest shortlisted candidates to next level interview

    • Establish selection and assessment methodology

    • Follow up with shortlisted candidates for further interviews

    • Conduct reference or background check checks for accepted candidates

    • Contact accepted candidates for job offers and further hiring procedures

    • Develop employer branding plans using social media, job fairs, and universities

    • On-boarding and Off-boarding Processes:

    • Administer on-boarding process including hiring-related paperwork

    • Develop and conduct newly hired orientation and induction program

    • Implement off-boarding for leaving employees


    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar discipline - Multinational experience is a must

    • Fluency of spoken and written English language

    • Human Resources degree/certificate is preferable

    • Training in local labor law, Social is preferable

    • Microsoft Office applications proficiency (Word-Excel-PowerPoint)

    • Good oral & written communication

    • Very good interpersonal skills

    • Very Good IT skills

    • Demonstrate ability to work productively and maintain effective relationship in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams

    • Pro-active attitude and good problem solving skills

    • Good experience in data management and data analysis
