Job Description
To diagnose and treat medical conditions and illnesses related to obstetrics/gynaecology with sub-specialty in fertility (Reproductive Medicine) through the application of specialist medical skills and knowledge.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
An independent fertility specialist with responsibility in assessing, investigating and carrying out Assisted Reproductive Techniques (ART).
As a member of the senior clinical staff, responsible for instructing in writing, the intended treatment plans, and liaise with other clinical staff and scientific staff for all treatments administered under my care.
To carry out ultrasound scans for gynaecological problems during fertility treatment.
To carry out surgeries for gynaecological conditions.
To counsel and support couples with regards to the potential complications associated with infertility field of practice such as Ovarian Hyperstimulation, ectopic pregnancy and multiple pregnancy.
To provide medical reports for purposes of patient sponsorship and referral to other medical specialists for treatments not available at the Centre.
Quality control of the success of the various ART treatments carried out at the center.
Job Requirements
Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and having not less than 5 years of experience with practice of Endocrine Infertility/Reproductive Medicine in a licensed fertility centre.
5 years’ experience in a recognized centre as an SSR.
Publication of at least two papers in scientific journals.
Accepted research, 6 scientific presentations/ posters in an international conference.
Involvement in clinical audit
