    T he candidate will have exceptional writing skills and command of English grammar, with native level fluency in English. The individual should be able to seamlessly move from creative content to UX to technical writing, and is well-versed in writing across devices and platforms. The individual is results-focused, strategic, and applies SEO best practices in their writing. The individual is a champion for brand guidelines, can adapt to brand tone of voice and write enticing copy that moves people to action.

    The individual will be responsible for preparing and delivering all digital content for emirates.com and supporting the wider digital team. The individual will ensure Service Level Agreements and digital marketing objectives are met, while also maintaining user-first experiences.

    The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. This individual excels at providing both highly analytical as well as creative ideas, and will have extensive experience in a fast-paced and innovative development environment.     Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Write compelling copy for emirates.com and all digital marketing channels including email, PPC and social, as well as support wider department’s requirements for copy.

    • Update, modify and deliver quality content across emirates.com, while strictly observing and managing quality standards, regulations and deadlines.

    • Manage content direction for emirates.com and digital marketing platforms.

    • Advise on best practices for web content and the overall user experience, and be an advocate for the user and for each working/stakeholder group to meet their objectives thereby balancing user needs and business goals.

    • Lead and deliver the content direction for the digital customer journey, optimizing customer engagement, conversation, retention and overall user experience.

    • Liaise with translation specialists to adhere to design rules, provide context and ensure content and language is consistent with brand across markets.

    • Work closely with the Digital Marketing team and other relevant CCM&B stakeholders in order to oversee the prioritization of the Digital roadmap and achieve the KPIs and goals from the Digital team.

    • Monitor and update the status of assignments to facilitate the delivery of integrated campaigns. Decide how images and other material can be digitally optimised and presented for the web. Maintain and respect file and folder naming conventions to ensure synergy and consistency of Emirates Group image and content across all communication digital platforms.

    • Own the day to day maintenance and updates for emirates.com and apps and take full responsibility for successful upkeep. This also includes the lifecycle of content and documentation management. Support the team to ensure successful live publishing of web content with agreed timelines.

    • Review and understand the content input briefs, ensuring that briefs are complete and assets included, ensuring delivery of work to the agreed timeline.

    • Ensure all digital work produced maintains the service level agreements (SLA). Prepare and review content then published to staging, ensuring it meets all requirements of the input brief.

    Job Requirements

    • An ongoing desire to learn and excel in a highly collaborative, multi-faceted department.

    • Minimum of 2 years copywriting experience

    • Minimum of 1-2 years digital copywriting experience, including both UX, marketing and social content

    • Strong conceptualization ability, strong visual communication ability

    • Data-driven knowledge and attention to detail

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in advertising, journalism, marketing or communications
