Investment Banking Off-Cycle Internship - Dubai, UAE
The Finance Off-Cycle Program in Dubai runs for nine to twelve months and is aimed at recent graduates or students looking to complete a long-term internship as a compulsory or optional element of their degree program. The Finance Off Cycle Intern will be placed directly within the Dubai Finance Team and become an integral team member where they can build their business knowledge and expertise.
The Finance Off-Cycle Intern will receive considerable on-the-job training that features technical training, industry knowledge, and regular review meetings.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Perform monthly due diligence to ensure integrity of financial information.
Month end bookings such as accruals and prepayments.
Booking and validating expense allocations and revenue bookings.
Preparation of Month end reconciliations and sign off.
Month end legal entity reporting.
Includes reconciliation, analytical review and Preparation of monthly financials packs to support regulatory returns.
Liaison with other internal groups including local infrastructure teams, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Fixed Assets, Product Controllers and Tax.
Supporting ad-hoc and regular regional management reporting requirements.
Job Requirements
You have completed or pursuing an undergraduate or Master’s degree, generally with a minimum 2:1.
You are a team player and excellent communicator.
You have advanced technical, quantitative and project management skills.
You are able to multi-task with close attention to detail.
You are client-service oriented.
