Job Description
The Trade Marketing Manager plays a key role within the Country Sales team, driving excellence in store (4P) execution across key customers/key accounts. The role will also focus on building expert knowledge across our Healthcare portfolio and sharing this with the customer in order to build long-term partnerships and increase profit and sales.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Create effective Success Models by using insights gained from an understanding of the category, consumer, channel, customer & shopper.
Create, validate, improve & ensure execution of category growth Platforms
Validate LSMs
Conduct extensive 4P reviews to improve in-store compliance & Trade Strategy
Deliver NPD launch tools, compelling selling presentations & identify the 4P tactics that are required for communication for Sales Teams to execute excellently
Manage Trade Investment at a category, segment & promotional grouping level to improve profitability
Work with Sales Teams, Sales Finance & Marketing teams to ensure accurate Forecasts are delivered
Conduct effective Return On Investment analysis of proposed strategy to identify financial opportunities for improvement that meet overall strategy & promotional objectives
Create compelling selling presentations which enable our Sales Teams to execute the Trade Strategy
Lead annual category 4Ps planning and review process by understanding business objectives and translating them into a 4Ps Local Success Model for Sales execution
Job Requirements
Minimum 7-8 years FMCG experience in Sales/ Trade Marketing/ Marketing and Key Account Management
Experience within Healthcare is desirable
Educated to minimum bachelors degree level ideally in a business related subject - from a recognized University
Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating
Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
Leadership and interpersonal skills capable of building strong working relationships and influencing and customers and internal teams
Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities
Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategy and planning issues
Strong analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation
Ability to think outside the box
The business language in Reckitt Benckiser is English; therefore, fluency in this language is essential. Fluency in other languages(s) is advantageous
