Financial Controller (SPPAL Branch)
Organisation: Postal, Parcel, and Airport Logistics
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Accounting: Ensure that proper controlling instruments are in place. This includes system analyses, processes and controlling of operations in the department and comply with company systems, policies, and IFRS + SAG closing and reporting guidelines. Check the accuracy of payments based on approved invoices and ensure that cost transfers to affiliates are promptly billed.
Corporate Controller: Preparation of Budget/Forecast in collaboration with Sales personnel. Project handling, costing and cost controlling in consultation with the Commercial Management and the Project Managers. Participate in Project review / Bid reviews / Country reviews and preparation of Sr. Management meetings. Act as overall financial interface for the Division to all stakeholders internally (Regions, Projects, Departments, Functions)
Monthly Reporting: Follow up with projects, departments, and regions to get all necessary inputs for reporting on business figures inlcuding consolidation of internal business.
Closing/Reporting: Closing Activities at month end to ensure proper reporting of business and project results in line with the Budget/Forecast.
Balance Sheet: Monthly, quarterly and yearly closing procedures and ensure that the resulting consolidated financial statements in ESPRIT comply with company systems, policies, and IFRS + SAG closing and reporting guidelines.
Treasury: Currency Risk Management with all transactions comply with company systems, policies, and IFRS + SAG closing and reporting guidelines.
Risk Management Coordinator: Identify the Risks and Opportunities at Company level and Corporate in consultation with the Executive Management and reporting in accordance with the prescribed format.
Management Analysis: Assist in preparation of financial budget and forecast and assistance for periodic reviews.
Audits: Liaises with Internal/External Auditors and organizing meetings in order to summarize the tasks and follow up on the implementation.
RIC: Liaise and support when necessary the RIC Officer, coordination with various departments for implementation and monitoring the status on periodic basis.
Special Tasks: Autonomous execution of special tasks assigned e.g. regional budget analysis, process improvment projects, and global project reviews.
Job Requirements
Bachelors Degree in B COM
8-10 years experience in Solution/Service Business and know how of Audit & 9 years experience in the project business.
Communication skills in English.
8 to 10 years experience in Controlling, Commercial Functions and Project Management
2 to 3 years experience in Accounting with a good general overview of IFRS especially of Siemens systems and procedures.
To lead a team of 2-3 commercial officers/subordinates
1 to 2 years experience with respect to supervisorial or Managerial Responsibilities.
Collaboration with International teams.
