The U.S. Mission in the UAE is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Office Management Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Basic Function of the Position – Serves as Office Manager in the Embassy’s Public Affairs Section and assistant to the Public Affairs Officer (PAO), while also serving as the section liaison to the Front Office, other Embassy sections and agencies, and the Dubai Consulate General Public Affairs Section.
S/he manages section’s contact database system, electronic calendars, eCC requests, and section time and attendance.
Performs other duties and projects as requested by the Public Affairs Officer in fulfillment of the goals and programs of the department

Completion of secondary school education and at least two years of university study in any field related to the social sciences is required
Must have a minimum of two years relevant experience in an administrative or office management position
Level IV (fluent) English and Level IV (fluent) Arabic
Must demonstrate strong proficiency in use of MS Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as social media and smartphone-based communications platforms such as WhatsApp.
General knowledge of U.S. culture and society is required, as well as diplomatic terminology.
Good working knowledge of host country institutions, prominent families, general etiquette, and social mores for the UAE and the Gulf also required.
