    Compliance Monitoring Manager - Emirates Engine Maintenance Centre (EEMC)

    Plan and implement an effective Compliance Monitoring programme for Emirates Engine Maintenance Centre (EEMC) facilities, processes, product and vendor organisations to meet the requirements of the applicable Aviation Authorities and EEMC's own procedures, in the field of aircraft engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO).

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Responsible for the periodic renewal of Certificates of Airworthiness, Radio Licenses, Insurance Certificates, Certificate of approvals of GCAA, EASA and other NAAs, creating and maintaining a yearly planned program to ensure timely renewal thereby avoiding disruption to airline operation.

    • Define and manage a planned audit programme to ensure that all regulatory requirements are complied with within the required time limits and that aircraft records are updated to reflect such timely compliance.

    • Maintain yearly and long term audit programmes to monitor compliance to regulatory requirements, standards and operational requirements of EEMC facilities and in addition, of third party external vendors in outstations.

    • Review and recommend improvements on procedures and processes identified through information received from audits to senior management. Ensure proper implementation of the changes and improvements, ensuring effective communication and following up to ensure compliance across EK Engineering.

    • Plan the allocation/testing of engineers and technicians applicants of company approvals and authorisations by Compliance Monitoring Auditors - Engineers (CMAs). Ensure EK Emirates required standard are met by the Airworthiness Authorities for certification of maintenance on aircraft and components in the various workshops.

    • Supervise the work of assigned group of engineering compliance auditors, in order to achieve the objectives set by management and regulatory authorities in the compliance of airworthiness standards.

    • Review the applications for issue renewal and validation process of the existing and newly inducted Aircraft Engineers Licenses in coordination with the GCAA. Structure and overview interviews of candidates applying for company authorization to ensure that they meet the standards set by airworthiness authorities and Emirates for the certification of maintenance.

    • Develop the skills, experience and competence of the team of engineering compliance auditors.

    • Manage and maintain the approval and publishing process for all engineering procedures, manuals and forms.


    Job Requirements

    • Engineering.Other : 8+ Years

    • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) :

    • Degree in Engineering or holder of UAE GCAA Aircraft Maintenance Licence.

    • Managerial experience involving certification of aircraft and active involvement in airworthiness and quality assurance.

    • Training in modern quality assurance and auditing techniques appropriate to the approvals and accreditations held by Emirates. Specialised knowledge of aviation fuel technology, storage and distribution systems.

    • Expert knowledge of ISO 9000 Quality System criteria and procedures.

    • Expert knowledge of CAR 145 regulations issued by GCAA

    • Expert knowledge of foreign airworthiness regulations pertinent to approvals held by Emirates Engineering.
