    the Arab African International Bank is currently recruiting for the role of Recruitment Officer / Senior Officer

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Handle the internal & external vacancies announcement with full alignment with the bank policies and work procedures.

    • Screen continuously and filter candidate applications / CVs against job requirements to establish a qualified database and pool for interviewing and selection.

    • Conduct phone screening interviews and one to one interview with potential candidates up to middle management levels within AAIB in the line with business requirements in order to qualify candidates for subsequent technical interviews conducted by lines of business and to ensure the documentation of relevant feedback.

    • Handle all administrative work related to the recruitment activity on daily basis to ensure effective and efficient documentation.

    • Review and Implement the staff transfers request across the different business areas in compliance with the staff transfer policy and maintains their updates in the HR systems.

    • Communicate effectively with all internal & external applicants the interview with the feedback in accordance with the set TAT.

    • Maintain efficient communication with different business heads / HR stakeholders to support smooth transfer process and provide necessary updates.

    • Attend employment branding events to effectively present AAIB and ensure having a pool of qualified candidates to join the bank.

    • Handle the communication and documentation of all hiring requirements for selected candidates in order to ensure availability of all documents in accordance to AAIB Policies and labour law requirements.

    • Develop the hiring gap analysis reports to ensure satisfying business requirements within the set TAT.

    • Prepare MI tool to be communicated with relevant Business Heads while ensuring the accuracy of data presented.

    • Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the Recruitment department to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.

    • Implement approved department policies, processes and procedures and monitor adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.


    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Accounting or a related discipline.

    • Officer: 0 – 3 years of experience in Recruitment and Selection capacities.

    • Senior Officer: 3 – 5 Years of experience in Recruitment and Selection capacities.

    • Proven Experience and knowledge of the Banking and Financial industries in a plus.

    • Excellent command of English & Arabic Languages

    • Excellent command of MS Office applications & HR systems

    • Negotiation skills

    • Communication skills

    • Presentation skills
