Air Cairo is currently recruiting for the role of Flight Operations Engineer
The Flight Operations Engineer provides Airline Flight Operations Department with all the necessary data for the pilots and airline flight operation engineers to operate safely and efficiently the aircraft. He/She ensures flight crew operational documentation updates and is in direct contact with the manufacturers’ support team.
This is an exciting and dynamic job opportunity to internally work together with pilots, simulator instructors, and flight operation engineers and in close coordination with several other departments such as Flight Crew Training, Safety, and Support Programs, Human factor specialists, Engineering Support, NavBlue, etc. and on A320, ATR and Embraer state of the art aircraft programs.
Job Requirements
A Bachelor of Engineering - Aeronautical / Aerospace / Mechanical.
Basic knowledge of Aircraft systems.
Basic Knowledge of Aircraft Performance.
Strong Computer Skills.
Excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and be able to make sound decisions under pressure.
Work experience minimum 1 or 2 years.
Good understanding of the aerodynamics principles.
Fluent in English.
Well-organized and self-motivated candidates are highly recommended.
Airbus/ATR/Embraer performance courses (Basic/Advanced).
Aircraft performance software user.
Software developing knowledge.
Data analysis knowledge.
Database management knowledge.
