Job Description
Qatar Airways Ground Services is seeking an Airport Services Duty Officer to supervise and control flight-handling activities in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. The role will ensure high service standards, customer satisfaction, and on-time flights. The individual will also have overall control of the shift as a direct representative of the Airport Services Manager. Their responsibilities include ensuring passenger and aircraft handling practices conform to safety and security standards, managing manpower, ensuring proper allocation of resources, conducting checks, resolving customer problems and complaints, and facilitating ramp handling activities in liaison with GHA, Caterers, Fueling, Maintenance, Cargo, and Crew.
Job Requirements
A successful candidate must have a college or university degree, at least 4 years of experience in airline or ground handling operations, excellent communication skills, knowledge of weight and balance, ramp handling, and dangerous goods regulations, ability to perform duties under pressure, understanding of carriage conditions, International Civil Aviation Safety and Security procedures, experience in passenger services, baggage services, ground operations, and ramp handling, high computer literacy, and excellent customer focus and service delivery.
