    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:


    Duties and Responsibilities

    The role involves issuing, reissueing, and refunding passenger tickets, booking and confirming flight reservations, rebooking passengers on oversold flights, and rebooking passengers during irregular operations. The role also includes passenger check-in, seat assignment, vouchers, boarding, gate reading/scanner, jetways/bridges, boarding and departure gate announcements, delivery of domestic/international flight documents, and passenger service flight close-out procedures. The role also includes accepting, checking, and tagging passengers' baggage at resolution centers, full-service ticket counters, and first class ticket counters.

    Customer service is provided on the job, including processing credit card baggage transactions, assisting passengers with self-service kiosk check-in and baggage processing, and assisting with special assistance or in-station tasks. The role also handles regional flights and contractor/ground handling agreements or contracts.

    Responsible attendance on site, including mandatory overtime requirements, is essential, and the role involves responding to security and emergency situations. The role also provides gate information and quality customer service in a professional manner, adhering to company policies, procedures, and performance standards. The role also involves using multiple internal resources and systems, including uniforms, during customer interactions.


    Job Requirements

    • High School diploma or GED or international equivalent

    • Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check and/or fingerprinting to satisfy company and security requirements

    • Bilingual language skills required in some locations

    • Applicable valid driver’s license as required by local authorities

    • Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable

    • Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable

    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

    • Read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.

    • Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous face to face Customer Service experience

    • Working knowledge of Sabre or any other Passenger Service System

    • Working in a fast pace environment
