Job Description
The Technician Trainee will assist engineers in performing Avionics, Airframe, and Engine Maintenance tasks on Air Arabia aircrafts, including inspections, repairs, and component replacements. The Trainee will also ensure that work is performed to required standards and in accordance with Air Arabia and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include supporting Line/Base Maintenance and Workshops engineers, carrying out training programs, performing tasks according to Air Arabia standards, executing routine and non-routine maintenance tasks, adhering to safety precautions, and advising Certifying Engineers and Shift Managers on potential service disruptions. Will also process part and component replacements professionally, conduct physical checks and inspections, and maintain tidiness of the workstation. The trainee will also carry out training in other areas of the engineering and maintenance environment as needed and engage in personal development as needed.
Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, Applicants must have a diploma in aircraft maintenance or equivalent, good English communication skills, computer proficiency, physical fitness, short-term travel ability, UAE driver's license, age between 23-30 years, previous experience is not required for this role, ability to train on large commercial aircraft maintenance, ability to work in Line or Base Maintenance, basic understanding of aircraft and engine maintenance theory and practice, ability to work under harsh conditions, and long working hours.
