Job Description
Kuwait Airways is currently recruiting for a Traffic Officer - IAD in the Ground Handling Department. Key duties include checking in passengers and baggage at Kuwait Airport check-in counters, ensuring passports and visas are valid, and advising supervisors of any irregularities. The role also involves clerical and reception activities related to transiting passengers and baggage, connecting flights, issuing refreshments and meal vouchers, receiving unaccompanied children, and arranging for guardian pick-ups or escorts to departing aircraft. The role also involves issuing excess baggage forms and receiving payments, liaising with Airport Immigration and Security Authorities, and obtaining immigration clearance for KAC and other carriers. The role may be assigned to other units of Passenger Services on shift, and the candidate will be expected to carry out all duties and responsibilities of these units/positions, or any related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate must have a 12-year secondary education, 2 years of airport operation experience, including 1 year of specialized traffic handling training, along with ticketing and sales courses, good English knowledge, and relevant computer system and keyboard skills.
