Job Description
Qatar Airways is seeking a Senior Airport Services Agent in New York (JFK) to provide quality passenger service in check-in, boarding, special services, lounges, and baggage services. The role involves constant liaison with check-in, transfer desk, and support Airport Services Supervisor. The candidate will also assist passengers in navigating airport facilities, assist with entry requirements, visas, and residence permits, and ensure smooth passenger handling. The role also involves liaising with bag room, ramp, and GHA staff, performing pre-flight, arrival, and departure 'aircraft turnaround checks', and performing other related duties to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Salary Range: 41,900-55,900
Job Requirements
The job requires a high school diploma, customer service experience, and at least one year of experience in airport operations. High energy, positive attitude, DCS experience, ticketing knowledge, willingness to work shifts. Amadeus knowledge is preferred. Lawfully authorized to work in the U.S., This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
