    As a Flight Attendant working for Solairus Aviation, You will be responsible for providing exceptional personal services to ensure the safety and comfort of aircraft passengers during flight, greeting passengers, explaining the use of safety equipment, and serving food and beverages. Key duties include directing and assisting passengers in emergencies, ensuring first aid kits and equipment are in working order, securing the cabin, administering basic first aid, reassuring passengers during turbulence, greeting passengers, assisting with personal belongings, assisting with boarding or disembarking, determining special assistance needs for small children, the elderly, or disabled passengers, performing preflight briefings, ensuring adequate supplies, facilitating passenger requests, shopping for special items, preparing food, inspecting and cleaning the cabin, ensuring the aircraft is always prepared, completing preflight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork, conducting periodic cabin trips, and operating audio and video systems.


    Job Requirements

    To succeed in this role, candidates must have knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, First Aid Training Certification, 2 years of corporate flight attendant experience, or 5 years with a major airline, and flight attendant-specific training from FlightSafety or FACTs. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are also required. A college degree is preferred, and fluency in one or more foreign languages is a plus. The candidate must be able to manage a constantly changing schedule, fly on short notice, and deploy for up to 16 consecutive days.

    Physical Requirements include vision correctable to 20/20 or better with glasses or contact lenses, and the ability to read reports, manage post-flight paperwork, and use a computer, smartphone, or iPad device. The candidate must be able to speak clearly, stand and walk without assistance, and work long hours in various climates. Must also be able to climb, stoop, kneel, bend, and push open/pull closed the main cabin door, prepare/cook and serve food and beverages, and lift supplies weighing 25-30 pounds repeatedly.
